Failure is an important part of success, not the opposite of it

In general, we don’t like to face difficulties or challenges. Our natural tendency is to complain about them. No one likes to get out of the comfort zone. Facing and managing challenges requires the right mindset. We should become aware that we grow and become stronger through challenges.

Failure is an important part of success, not the opposite of it.

We have been taught that failing means lack of ability to achieve things; ignorance and we suffer the pressure if we decide to give up because others are watching and judging us.

This way of thinking is a trait of people with a fixed mindset but now it is time to go beyond what we know or has been taught to us by previous generations.

We learn by making mistakes but we have to be smart enough to learn by others’ mistakes too.

“I haven’t failed. I have tried 9999 ways that didn’t work”. Thomas Edison

Instead of feeling bad about your failures, start to write about your “failures” by focusing ONLY on the positive sides of the negative experiences and by making a list of all the positive things you learned or gained from such experiences.

You will be surprised when you list all the gains and the lessons, you will notice how much you have grown, how strong you have become and your perspective on failure will change.
